This is a section of the 1st Christmas Stocking I made using the traditional crazy quilt method. It's does by hand from start to finish. It takes many many hours to make one of these. To date I have completed three large stocking and one mini stocking. Considering they take on an average of 100 hours each to complete, I reserve them for VERY Special people. So far each one is unique. This one has a prominent Christmas Tree. Others had a Santa face with full beard and a Madonna and Child. I currently have one in the works, but I'm not to the embroidery stage yet.I love to sew! I sew for my beautiful granddaughter, Braelynn. I am a crafter - I sew , knit, quilt, paint...whatever comes around! I love to do thread painting ( learned to do that at Sulky Teacher Training). I teach beginner sewing classes to children AND adults. This is very rewarding! I also do quilting workshops. Now we havin' fun!
